Welcome to Defa’s Dude Ranch in Hanna. This ranch has been owned and operated by the Defa Family since the 1940s.

Come and stay for a while in one of the 17 cabins. There is also a 17-stall RV park if you'd prefer.

As you walk around and explore, you’ll also find amenities like a 1950s-style café, dance hall, two shower facilities, an outdoor picnic pavilion, and more.

If you love the outdoors or simply want to spend a little more time out in nature, this Utah Dude Ranch is an absolute must. Fishing, hiking, and horseback riding opportunities are in abundance in the area.

But I particularly love just enjoying the view. Defa’s Dude Ranch is in a gorgeous area of Utah. It’s a delightful destination for photographers, wildlife observers, and those searching for a little peace and quiet.

The fall is especially a wonderful time to visit as this dude ranch and the town of Hanna are surrounded by stunning fall foliage. There’s nothing quite like staring at yellows, oranges, and reds as you go throughout your day.

Defa’s Dude Ranch is open seasonally from May through October. Weekdays are best if you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy some quiet. Plus, cabin rentals are discounted Monday-Wednesday each week (except on holidays).
