The Falling Branch trail is just over a mile in length, at about 1.2 miles to be exact. You'll enjoy the woodland path...

...and wildflowers! Keep in mind that the trail is bumpy and uneven, so strollers are not recommended.

Eventually, you'll end up at Kilgore Falls, which was once a filming location of the Disney film, Tuck Everlasting. It's not hard to see why -- this spot is gorgeous!

But most people like to visit during the summer months, when you can take a dip among the waterfall. The shallow areas are also great for toddlers who love to splash around.
