2. Geyser Falls Water Theme Park in Choctaw, MS

Named the "Southeast’s #1 Family Attraction," this water park is sure to please. Geyser Falls boasts 13 water slides, a pool and lake for swimming, cabanas for relaxing, and the Caribbean-inspired Beach Club which includes a stage for performances, a full-service restaurant, and a tiki bar. If you’re feeling adventurous, make sure to ride the Backsplash - a backward waterslide.

3. Grand Paradise Water Park in Collins, MS

Located in Collins, this water park sits on 7 acres - every last bit of which is packed with fun! The park features several water slides including 2 new additions: the SuperLOOP, a speed slide with an 80-degree drop, and the MultiBUMP Splash Drop which sends riders down a series of vertical drops. Up until 2013, this state park had been in the process of rebuilding since most of it was destroyed during 2005’s Hurricane Katrina. Today, the park is better than ever. 5. Yogi on the Lake in Pelahatchie, MS

This all-in-one water park, RV park, and campground is the perfect family destination. In addition to being home to the Wet-n-Wild water park, Yogi on the Lake offers all kinds of family fun including crafts, games, and scavenger hunts. 6. Pep’s Point in Hattiesburg, MS

This Hattiesburg water park may be small but it is definitely much appreciated during the warm summer months. In addition to a couple of slides, guests have access to canoes and paddleboats which can be used in the lake that is onsite. And since the waterslides are spring fed, the water is nice and cold – a definite plus since Mississippi summers can be pretty brutal.

7. Flint Creek Water Park and Campgrounds in Wiggins, MS

Set on a sprawling 1900 acres, this park offers several water slides in addition to a 650-acre lake fit for swimming, boating, fishing, and skiing. The water park, Splash of Fun, has been updated within the past year and now includes six slides, a splash pad, and a lazy river. The park has plans for several more updates including zip-lining.

8. Shiloh Splash Park in Brandon, MS

This park may be small but it is perfect for the little ones or if you just need to cool off on a hot summer day. Shiloh Splash Park features a zero-depth spray park, spray rings, ground geysers, butterfly falls, palm trees, water cannons, and a "froggy" slide.

9. Merit Water Park in D’Lo, MS

Perfect for all those nature lovers out there, this 25-acre park is located in Simpson County on Rials Creek. No, there aren’t any waterslides here but the park does feature a beautiful waterfall, an old-fashioned swimming hole, and a sand and rock creek-side beach. And since Rials Creek is spring fed, the water is nice and cold all year long.

10. Bogue Chitto Water Park in McComb, MS

Located on the Bogue Chitto River, this water park offers a serene atmosphere, perfect for those lazy summer days. The gently flowing river and small rapids make the lake perfect for canoeing and, for those really wanting to sit back and relax, tubing.
