These 6 Charming Farms In Arizona Will Make You Love The Country

With fall about to slowly creep up on us (very slowly), now may be a good time to start looking at different farms around the state that you can visit for a taste of country fun. If you’re looking for a farm to pick your own fruits and veggies or go for a fall festival, check out these places.

1. Apple Annie’s Orchard Farms, Willcox

Apples are clearly the most popular option but they also have juicy Asian pears August through October and plenty of other fruits and vegetables to choose from. If you drive by in spring, you can also see the trees bloom from the road.

2. Fenway Park Orchards, Morristown

Morristown sits right between Wickenburg and Wittman along the 60. This orchard is a great little place to pick your own apples, peaches, and grapes.

3. From the Farm & Afar, Yuma

This farm not only has a delicious collection of fruits and vegetables, but they also sell pastries, canned goods, and local honey. If you’re looking for a unique wedding or other event venue, check them out!

4. Mortimer Family Farms, Dewey

This farm, much like the others, offers seasonal foods and locally raised meats. In the fall, they host a fall festival with a corn maze and pumpkin patch.

5. Richcrest Farms, Cochise

This farm takes pride in their organic farming practices and canned products sold in their adorable little country store. They also host U-pick sessions, festivals, and classes.

6. Schnepf Farms, Queen Creek

At one point in time, this location was much more rural. Because of its proximity to the Phoenix-metro area, it's a common field trip location for schools. The train ride, fall events, and petting zoo make it a hit with kids and they host U-pick days for their seasonal fruits and vegetables.
