Despite the freezing rain outside, it's already time to start planning for your summer. One thing that should be on your radar is this amazing summer camp for adults. "Kids stuff" isn't just for kids anymore and nostalgia for better times is at an all-time high. A long weekend of adult summer camp sounds kind of perfect, actually.
Camp No Counselors takes all the amazing bits about summer camp from when you were younger and makes it even better. There's a location that is tagged "Chicago" but it actually takes place at a 600-acre campsite in the Wisconsin Dells.
Why are we telling you this now? Because the 2017 camp dates were just announced, pre-registration is about to begin, and spots fill up fast.
Schedule a week of fun in the sun, a girls' or guys' weekend, or even a bachelor or bachelorette party with your closest friends and family and get ready to party, laugh and feel like a kid all over again.
Camp No Counselors is all about the most amount of nostalgic fun you can fit into a long weekend.
It's all the great things you remember about sleepaway camp and none of the bad.
Unlike when you were a kid, you get to pick and choose what you participate in - no one's going to force you into anything.
So whether you're way into arts and crafts ....
... want to channel your inner warrior ...
... or really loved color wars, there's something for you to love.
The location in the Dells means plenty of water activities, from waterskiing and wakeboarding to kayaking and sunbathing.
But of course, there's also a slip n' slide.
Pre-dinner means the Happiest of Hours because adult summer camp has adult beverages.
Mornings are pancakes, fruit and cereal and the rest of your meals are camp classics refined for your grown-up palate.
There's the talent show, capture the flag and so much more.
And don't forget to pack your costumes - they'll definitely get a work out.
