Welcome to the lovely Osceola!
This tiny town of just over 2,000 residents was settled in the 1840s.
Main Street still has a smattering of nicely preserved buildings that date back to the 1880s.
The charm of this small town can be seen in every direction.
The historic buildings on Cascade Street are what draws them in, but it's the attractions, the people and the location that keep folks around for the day.
We can start with the town's famous park with an entrance right on Casacde Street.
Head down a few stairs and then through the park, and then be prepared for the longest staircase of your life.
But you're about to find out that what's at the bottom of those stairs is totally worth the effort!
Visitors drive hours and hours to visit this waterfall, called Cascade Falls, in Osceola.
Hungry? Osceola has you covered in that department too! Several great eateries are located downtown.
This small town in Wisconsin even has the nicest public restrooms we've ever seen, conveniently located right off the main street in town.
Now that's my kind of town!
On the other end of this main drag you'll find the 1916 Soo Line Depot, where you can check out this historic depot or take a pre-booked 90-minute ride.
Whether you're just passing through or plan to stay a while, Osceola, Wisconsin is a charming town you just won't be able to resist.
Osceola is located on the beautiful St. Croix River on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border about 40 miles northeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
