Wisconsin communities come alive with the holiday season, and a great Wisconsin lights display can be found in Tomah. Tomah Holiday Lights illuminates the holiday season with an annual holiday lights display that captivates locals and visitors alike with a dazzling showcase of festive cheer. This beloved event transforms a city waterfront park into a winter wonderland. Here’s what you need to know about this year’s display.
Tomah is located Monroe County, Wisconsin. It’s a close-knit community that’s tucked into one of the state’s most scenic regions. Known as the "Gateway to Cranberry Country," Tomah is a place that’s worth a visit in any season.
It’s particularly festive during the holidays, when you'll find a brilliant array of twinkling lights and vibrant decorations. Just head to Winnebago Park to take in the show. The park is a pleasant spot that’s right on the shore of Lake Tomah.

A driving route will take you through the display, although some people choose to park their cars and take in the lights on foot.
The display itself features an array of themed light installations, ranging from traditional holiday motifs like reindeer, snowflakes, and candy canes to elaborate light sculptures that capture the imagination.
Hardworking volunteers make this magical display happen every year, and the event supports a very good cause – donations are collected to support the Neighbor for Neighbor Food Pantry. The nonprofit helps feed people in need in eastern Monroe County.
The community spirit really shines through as locals come together to celebrate and spread joy during this special time of year. Make plans this season to join the fun!
I attended this display last season - it was pretty cool; and it was a mild night, so I was able to explore the park on foot. I can’t wait to see it again!
