The most wonderful time of the year is finally here! And there’s no better place to get your fill of holiday cheer than the Wisconsin Christmas Carnival of Lights, one of the biggest, brightest, most dazzling drive-thru displays in the state. Like a Christmas movie brought to life, it’s a spectacular seasonal spectacle that you don’t want to miss. Take a look at this wonderful Christmas lights display in Wisconsin.
Home to everyone’s favorite picnic basket thief, Jellystone Park in Caledonia is not lacking in the whimsy department.
However, there’s no denying that the whimsy factor is kicked up a notch (or 10!) during the holidays when the campground hosts the Carnival.
Spanning 1.6 miles and featuring more than two million lights, it’s billed as “Southeastern Wisconsin's largest Christmas drive-thru light show.”
Longer, brighter, and more dynamic than ever before, this year’s display includes a 200-foot drive-thru tunnel.
One-of-a-kind handcrafted displays, which feature elves, reindeer, forest friends, beloved children's characters, Santa, and more, only add to the magic.
Creatively imagined, lights and décor surround you as you make your way through the multicolored display of dazzling and vivid Christmas lights that will wow the whole family..
Driving through this holiday wonderland is like stepping into your favorite Christmas movie. Though the entire display can be enjoyed from the comfort and safety of your own car, there are options for some out-of-the-car fun, too.
You can book a seat in Santa’s sleigh or take a ride on the new Golf Cart Holiday Train.
And since no holiday celebration would be complete without him, Santa Claus will be on hand for (socially distanced) photos.
The display will also feature a walk-thru portion. Dubbed the Winter Walk of Lights, the walk-thru display can be found just outside of The Ember Lodge, near Santa's Workshop.
The Wisconsin Carnival of Christmas Lights is open from November 18 - January 1 and run Sunday - Thursday from 5 - 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 - 11 p.m.
And remember, it’s CASH ONLY at the gate. However, there’s an ATM on site. Now, time to hop in the car with the whole family and enjoy the best drive-thru light display in Wisconsin!
