1. Appalachian Coal Town Christmas
See what Christmas was like in an old West Virginia coal camp. Beckley's exhibition coal mine has a great Christmas display.
2. The Christmas Light Display and Drive Thru at the West Virginia State Farm Museum in Point Pleasant
The lights display was open Dec. 11 to 20.
3. 60 Spectacular Days of Holiday Cheer at the Greenbrier
The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs sure looks beautiful for Christmas.
4. The Oglebay Festival of Lights in Wheeling
This lights display has been named one of the best in the country. It features lights covered 300 acres over a 6-mile drive throughout the resort.
5. The Blennerhassett's Festival of Trees
Check out this display of more than 30 Christmas trees and wreaths at the historic Blennerhassett Hotel.
6. Christmas in the Park at Chief Logan State Park
The display at Chief Logan features more than a mile of lights and 200 display pieces.
7. The state Capitol in Charleston
With its Christmas trees (one for each side of the capitol) and lights, the Capitol is a beautiful sight during the holidays.
8. The historic houses of Bramwell
Each year in Bramwell there's a Christmas tour of the historic houses while they're all gussied up for Christmas. They do not disappoint.
9. The Celebration of Lights in Fairmont
The South Fairmont Rotary Club presents 1.3 miles of Christmas lights and displays at Morris Park in Fairmont.
10. Lacey's Lights and Maples Display at Fayette County Park
This lights display has been going on since 1967.
11. Christmas at Cass
Main Street in Cass Scenic Railroad State Park is beautiful when it's all lit up for Christmas. There are lots of Christmas events -- such as tree light ceremonies, and events with Santa -- during the Christmas season, too.
