How many of you longtime Washingtonians grew up road-tripping around the Northwest? Washington is bordered by some pretty great states, and many of us spent summer vacations driving to places like the Oregon Coast and Yellowstone National Park. But whether you’re a child at the end of a road trip or an adult returning from a business venture (or just an adventure), you can’t help but feel a certain way when you see that “Welcome to Washington” sign.
Our state may not be perfect, and we may have our disagreements about the way we feel it should be run, but at the end of the day, it’s an absolutely gorgeous corner of the country we’re lucky to call home.
Welcome to Washington! Our beautiful state is bordered by British Columbia, Oregon, and Idaho, with Montana not too far... and for that, we are thankful.
At the borders are where you'll discover the "Welcome to Washington" state sign locations. While we are surrounded by stunning scenery, it's still nice to be home.
When you cross the border into the Evergreen State, there are certain things you might start to feel.
No judgment! Washington has some of the best food on the planet.
You also know that you can go in any direction you choose and see a variety of very diverse scenery, like the rolling hills and golden wheat fields of the peaceful Palouse...
You just might be surprised by how wonderful Washington actually is.
