Now that we’re entering summer, it’s time to start planning our outdoor excursions. If you love food half as much as I do, these al fresco adventures include dining en plein air, and few places do outdoor dining quite like The Boathouse Restaurant & Bar. This small-town spot on the Peninsula may offer the best waterfront dining in Washington. If not, it’s certainly one of our state’s only spots where people can go for a hike in the afternoon and be listening to live music— cocktail in hand, in full hiking gear— by the evening.
