The Moulton Falls Trail walks you along the Lewis River straight to the Moulton Falls swimming hole in Washington, a swimming destination you won't want to skip this summer.

Moulton Falls Trail is an out-and-back hike that combines a nice, peaceful nature walk with a bit of adventure. And bonus! At the end of the trail there's a waterfall you can swim in, a lovely reward after hiking through the forest.
The (mostly flat) trail crosses a picturesque footbridge and then follows the Lewis River with a mossy cliff to the left.
The trail is mostly flat, so it's a pretty easy trek for someone of any skill level.
This particular stretch of the Lewis River is especially beautiful, so the hike is downright pleasant.
At times, you won't even feel like you're exercising.

Reward yourself with a refreshing dip at the bottom of the waterfall.
This spot is one of the best waterfall swimming holes in Washington, and plenty of Washingtonians take full advantage.
The water here is cool and clean, and you'll see people wading in as well as cliff jumping.
