This scenic 100-acre park is nestled alongside the Spokane River. One of its most iconic features is Upper Spokane Falls, which is also the second-largest urban waterfall in the country.
When you first arrive at Riverfront Park, you'll want to stop by to visit the Riverfront Park Fountain Cafe where they offer rotating craft beer, snacks, and light lunch menu items.
One of the most unique attractions offered at Riverfront Park is the charmingly antique Looff Carousel. Originally constructed and hand-carved in 1909, this carousel is lavishly decorated and is sure to be the highlight of your visit.
And as a bonus fun fact for history buffs: this carousel was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 after its painstaking restoration in 1975. You might be surprised to discover that even adults will enjoy feeling like a kid again with a ride on the beloved Looff Carousel.
