There are two types of Washingtonians: those who eagerly take pictures of their food, and those who think it's silly. If you fall into the latter category, we dare you to come dine at the brand new Drip Tea Cafe in Seattle. While it specializes in trendy beverages, it's the "Bearyaki" soft serve that will steal your heart.
Drip Tea is located in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood, and we're not kidding when we say it's brand new.
The cafe opened its doors mid-February and is in a soft open state until March 7.
The space is small, but it's decked out in plenty of Instagram-worthy decor.
The daily menu is always on the wall. There's also an entire side that's dedicated to retail, selling trendy clothes and sneakers.
This is a bubble tea cafe, which has dubbed itself Seattle's hypebeast boba shop.
Indulge in flavors like Post Melona (inspired by the Melona fruit ice cream bar) and Fear of POG (passion orange guava juice).
Everything about this place is unique, but what really sets it apart from all other cafe is the Bearyaki.
This twist on taiyaki, Japanese fish-shaped waffles, comes in the shape of a bear that's filled to the brim with tasty soft serve.
In addition to being adorable, you'll have plenty of toppings to choose from (like strawberry dust and cocoa pebbles) so you can customize your order.
And rest assured, this is as delicious as it is cute.
Did we mention that you can get your drink in a 24 ounce reusable Bear Bottle?
This is a perfect choice for repeat customers or those who simply appreciate fun.
Drip Tea is still setting their permanent schedule. But during their soft opening phase, they're open from 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. daily.
And we think this cute little concept cafe will do quite well in this quirky neighborhood.
Stop by the new Drip Tea Cafe and welcome them to Washington. It's exciting to have a unique place like this to visit during trips to the Emerald City.
