The A.A.F. Tank Museum in Danville is home to an extensive collection of tank and cavalry artifacts, ranging from weapons to various uniformed.
As noted by the sign at the entrance, the mission is "preserving the memories of those who served, those who are missing, and those who were lost."
The collection of artifacts is positively overwhelming. There are over 120 tanks, 2,000 helmets, and 340 uniforms.
Touring the museum, you'll have a keen understanding of the technological advances of each war.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect is the sheer range of artifacts. The oldest item in the museum dates back to 1509!
There's even an exhibition called "Elvis in Uniform" dedicated to the singer's time in the service.
