Welcome to Grandview Nature Preserve! Located in Hampton, Virginia, this beloved natural attraction is one you'll want to visit over and over again.

To start, the landscape is just beautiful. Grandview Nature Preserve stretches for 500 acres along the Chesapeake Bay.

And just look at that view! Many visitors love coming here because the beach is totally unspoiled. Walking along the water, you'll notice shells and perhaps even a scuttling crab or two.

When you visit, it's important to be mindful and never leave any trace (except footprints!)

Exploring the beach via the nature trails within the preserve, you'll find signs of wildlife at every turn. This area is particularly famous for its woodland birds, which are especially abundant during the spring.

So while a trip to Grandview Nature Preserve might not be your typical day at the beach, you'll find it to be perhaps even more rewarding to spend time in such a natural haven.

Pets are allowed on the beach only on a leash. Please note that pets are not permitted on the beach between May 15 and September 15 and on Factory Point between April 1 and September 15. Camping, fires, bicycle rides, and off-road vehicles are also prohibited. Grandview Nature Preserve is not currently handicap accessible.
