If you're looking for beautiful hikes in Shenandoah National Park that won't take all day to complete, Rose River Falls Trail is an excellent option.
It can also be part of a 4-mile loop if you're looking to extend your adventure. Rose River Falls and Dark Hollow Falls begin at the same trailhead, although Dark Hollow Falls is considered much more popular and can get overcrowded at times. The best place to park is the Fisher's Gap Parking Area.

The trail is well maintained although can get a bit muddy depending on rainfall. However, it follows a stream so the sound of running water is never far away!
