If you are in the mood for something sweet and historic, our adventure today is for you! Brookers Founding Flavors Ice Cream is one of the coolest themed ice cream shops in Utah. The entire shop is based on American history from its décor to its delicious flavors. In fact, ordering an ice cream cone here is not only going to excite your taste buds but it may teach you something new as well.
Welcome to Brookers Founding Flavors Ice Cream! This uniquely-themed ice cream parlor has three locations in Utah — Herriman, Provo, and Vineyard — and each shop is going to take you back to America’s early days.
This American history-themed ice cream shop is the creation of Brian Brooker who not only had a dream of starting a homemade ice cream business, but has had countless experiences with American history after growing up in Virginia, hiking throughout the country, and even serving in the military.
Even if you don’t have a love for history, you’ll love this ice cream parlor. All of the ice cream is made using fresh and natural products sourced from local dairies and you will taste the difference with each lick.
Not only is the ice cream fresh and delicious, but the flavors feature a fun American theme as well. For example, try the James Madison’s Constitutional Crunch or John Hancock’s Signature Mint Chocolate Truffle.
We also recommend Monroe’s Marshmallow Peanut Butter Cookie Doctrine, which consists of marshmallow ice cream with chunks of white chocolate-dipped peanut butter cookies.
And while an ice cream cone is a wonderful treat, if you want something extra special, order a sundae. Covered in a variety of toppings, this sweet treat is going to make your taste buds dance.
If you aren’t in the mood for ice cream, no worries. Grab a cup of drinking chocolate! This was one of the most popular beverages of the American Revolution and a favorite drink for many historical figures like John and Abigail Adams.
And, of course, at Brookers Founding Flavors, each flavor of drinking chocolate is named after one of the original 13 colonies.
No matter which of the three locations you visit, Brooker’s Founding Flavors Ice Cream is where American history becomes so much sweeter.
