The weather might be cold and dreary, but you can still spend the entire day splashing and playing in the water when you visit Provo Recreation Center & Pool. The indoor pools here are tons of fun, and you're going to want to make a trip to Provo just to swim here.
When the weather is blustery, but everyone feels like playing in the water, head to Provo Recreation Center & Pool. The indoor pools here are open year-round, and you'll stay cozy and warm while you splash and play.
The kids' pool area has a cool outdoors theme, with pine trees and a river. There's a zero-depth entry pool for little ones, and it's got a couple small waterslides, sprinklers, and play areas.
Two waterslides for older swimmers twist and turn, stretching even outside the building, before shooting you out of the tubes into the landing zones. Most of the pools and the waterslides are kept at a balmy 88 degrees; the lap pool is a bit cooler at 80 degrees.
Kids of all ages will love the lazy river, where they can swim or float around in a circle, splashing the entire time. Bring your water noodles, small squirt guns, and small hand-held water toys to play with!
The deep-water pool is perfect for older kids and adults. It's 13.5 feet deep, and features three waterfalls, a climbing wall, and a diving platform.
Staying true to the outdoorsy theme, the deep-water pool area is designed to look like a swimming hole, surrounded by rocky cliffs.
For serious swimmers, the Competition Pool offers lap swimming, and it often hosts swim competitions. The pool has 10 lap lanes and a dedicated lap swimming schedule.
Provo Rec Center is affordable for everyone. Daily admission includes all areas of the fitness center. Adults pay just $5 per day, kids and seniors pay $4. If you're a resident of Provo, you can get single or family memberships.
