Deer Creek Reservoir is a popular place for a day outdoors. Here you can boat, fish, swim, and camp — it’s an outdoor lover’s paradise. But there is another destination at Deer Creek Reservoir that is perfect for those who want a little peace, beauty, and relaxation. The Lakehouse Restaurant provides an upscale dining experience where you can dive into incredible dishes and enjoy a flavorful drink. This waterfront restaurant in Utah is unlike most others in the state and it’s one eatery you’ll want to visit at least once.
Located right on the shore of Deer Creek Reservoir is The Lakehouse. From the minute you arrive you’ll be impressed.
… but I suggest that on a warm summer day, you head outside and enjoy the water views. You’ll not only be able to stare at Deer Creek Reservoir but also the mesmerizing Mount Timpanogos in the distance.
The mission of The Lakehouse is to create a multi-sensory experience. Not only does the location make this restaurant bucket-list-worthy, but the dishes each have stories attached to them.
Lunch and dinner are served at this waterfront restaurant and you’ll want to visit throughout the year as the menu changes each season. Start each meal with a delicious appetizer or salad. For lunch, there are a variety of handheld dishes to choose from including burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and more.
Keep in mind that lunch is only available on Thursday through Sunday, while dinner is served seven days a week.
Dinner is my favorite time to visit as the menu is much larger and there is truly something for everyone. A variety of meats, seafood, and veggie entrees are available and each one is beautifully plated and absolutely delicious.
And after you visit once, you may find that The Lakehouse becomes your favorite destination at Deer Creek Reservoir. It’s perfect here.
