We love to write about Utah's small towns, and this is one of our favorites. Huntsville is tucked away in the Ogden Valley, surrounded by beauty. It also has tons of recreation opportunities, so it's perfect for a summer day trip.

The town was founded in 1860, and it remains quite rural today.

The 15,000-acre Middle Fork Wildlife Management Area is a great place to find a bit of solitude during summer months.
Grab a delicious burger and a beer at Shooting Star Saloon. This quaint little joint has been around since 1879, and is the oldest continually operating bar in the state.
Visit Snowbasin Resort for a summer concert. Blues, Brews, BBQ happens every Sunday, starting on June 11th. The concerts are free!
Play on Pineview Reservoir. You can kayak, fish, waterski...
...or just enjoy the beauty of this picturesque place.
Take a little road trip up to Huntsville. You'll find it just 14 miles east of Odgen, via Ogden Canyon.
