Wisconsin is chock full of awesome ways to celebrate the holidays and we love a good light display, but you've probably never seen a display this way. We're used to driving or walking through a Winter Wonderland, but in Lake Geneva, you can take a Santa Cruise to check out some awesome and beautiful lights.
From now until the start of the new year, you can hop on a Lake Geneva Cruise Line cruise.
The cruise follows the story of the North Pole told in light displays along the shoreline. The lights glow and shimmer on the water, adding to this magical experience.
In addition, you'll get to see the beautiful decorations put up by the residents of the area, which light up their gorgeous homes along the lake.
There's a cash bar during the cruise for tasty treats for you and your kids.
And the staff helps get you into the holiday cheer.
The cruise runs at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday have those three runs, plus a 7:30 pm option. On Friday and Saturday nights, there's also an adults-only "naughty or nice" cruise at 8:30 pm.
Tickers are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and $15 for children. There is no charge for toddlers. There is also a ride and dine option with dinner at Pier 290 - check the website for information and package deals.
Even during those early cruises, it's dark enough for you to enjoy the full display.
Before or after the cruise, enjoy a chance to check out their charity trees and prepare to be enchanted enough to make this a regular holiday tradition for you and your family.
Check out the Lake Geneva Santa Cruise website for complete details and to reserve tickets. These cruises go through the new year.
