If you were putting together a list of the best drive-thru Christmas lights in Wisconsin, Rotary Lights would definitely be on it. Made up of millions of lights, the massive display is nothing short of magical. And since these are both drive and walk-thru Christmas lights in Wisconsin, our unpredictable weather won’t get in the way of your festive fun. Take a look at the rotary lights in Wisconsin:
Each holiday season, Riverside Park in La Crosse transforms into a twinkling wonderland, thanks to the annual light display, Rotary Lights.
A Christmas tradition for many, the display has been dazzling visitors for 24 years.
Speaking of visitors, Rotary Lights attracts nearly 160,000 people a year!
The only thing more impressive than the number of attendees is the number of lights used to create the display, which is 4,000,000.
When it comes to viewing the enormous holiday display, you have a few options.
You can drive through it, which is a great choice when it’s especially cold outside.
Walking through the display is another option and means you’ll be afforded close-up views of the festive lights.
But walking and driving aren’t your only options for viewing Rotary Lights.
You can also take a carriage ride through the park, giving you the chance to kick back and relax while taking in the glowing set-up.
The holiday fun doesn’t end with the lights, though. There are a ton of events held over the course of Rotary Lights, which runs from Nov. 29 through Dec. 31.
Live musical entertainment, live reindeer, breakfast with Santa, and a 5k ugly sweater run are just a few of the festivities you’ll find at Rotary Lights.
There’s even ice skating. The rink is open nightly depending on weather, as freezing temperatures are required.
