You might do a double-take when you see this giant apple by the side of the road.
The giant apple contains a time capsule that was dedicated October 19, 1990 to be opened in 2040. Apple production is a big part of Martinsburg's history, and it was once named the Apple Capital of the World. The apple sits on West King Street.
