This amazing garden has areas celebrating all phases of life. It's a must see!
3. Owl's Head Lookout
The views of Kettle Pond in Groton State Forest as seen from Owl's Head Lookout will make you feel like you're on top of the world... and totally secluded.
4. Breadloaf Wilderness

5. Mt. Abraham, Warren
A spectacular view looking north from Mt. Abraham on the Long Trail. And if you're totally alone on Mt. Abraham, take a picture of your pack to represent.

The town of Fletcher may have just over 1,200 people, but you can find secluded and quiet spots throughout the town. Fletcher is one of those hidden gems in Vermont that everyone will love.

The small town of Pomfret has under 1,000 residents, and perhaps it's this troll on the South Pomfret Covered Bridge who keeps the crowds away...
8. Woodstock
Even in places that have their fair share of tourists, you can always find a quiet bench to kick back and relax.
9. The Salmond Covered Bridge, Weatherford
Because they are often bypassed and on seldom used roads, many covered bridges can be a bit tricky to find. The Salmond Covered Bridge (circa 1880) in Weatherford has this handy guide.
