Most of Utah’s towns offer something amazing. Some offer amazing recreation opportunities; others have cultural attractions; others are just quiet, peaceful places to live and work. Some of Utah’s towns are lucky enough to have all those things, and absolutely breathtaking scenery too.
1. Alpine
Nestled at the foot of American Fork Canyon, Alpine has plenty of scenic beauty.
2. Brigham City
The view from Main Street is amazing.
3. Cedar City
It’s not just the Shakespeare Festival or Southern Utah University that makes Cedar City great, it’s the scenery, too.
4. Garden City
The residents of Garden City get to gaze out on one of Utah’s most beautiful lakes every day.
5. Hanksville
Hanksville has the Henry Mountains, which offer views like this.
6. Heber
The Heber valley is a beautiful mix of rural fields and towering, snow-covered mountains.
7. Huntsville/Eden/Liberty
The Ogden valley has rural beauty, mountains, a lake and a ski resort.
8. Kamas
Kamas is the gateway to the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, but the town itself has some pretty spectacular scenery.
9. Kanab
Kanab's scenery is familiar to the rest of the country, who associate it with Westerns (and other movies).
10. Logan
Logan is rural, but also offers mountains.
11. Moab
The gateway to Arches National Park...how could it not be beautiful?
12. Park City
The mountain beauty of Park City is breathtaking.
13. Provo
The view of Mt. Timpanogos must take Provo residents’ breath away every day.
14. Richfield
It’s not enough to just have quaint, adorable shops on Main Street...add some gorgeous mountains in the background and you have breathtaking scenery.
15. Salt Lake City
The Wasatch Mountain Range provides a breathtaking background for our capital city.
16. Springdale
No matter where you go in Springdale, the craggy mountains of Zion National Park tower overhead.
17. St. George
St. George offers a sweeping vista.
18. Torrey
Even stormy weather doesn’t diminish the scenery around Torrey.
19. Vernal
Sure, Vernal has those famous dinosaurs that everyone loves to visit. But the town also has this stunning scenery.
