One of the best things about the Beehive State is how many adventures you can have during a lifetime here. We love to bring you information and ideas to help you plan your epic Utah adventures, so today we've compiled a list of 16 places we've previously featured. 1. Explore the Brighton Lakes.
High above Brighton Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon, you'll find several pretty alpine lakes. Take the Brighton Lakes Trail to explore all of them - you'll hike a total of about 4.5 miles, roundtrip.

2. Explore Calf Creek Falls
Camp overnight at Calf Creek Falls, in the northern portion of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Then, take the 5.7-mile roundtrip hike to Calf Creek Falls to see this pretty oasis in the desert.

3. Cruise the Colorado.
Everyone should definitely cruise the majestic Colorado River at some point. Take a tour with Canyonlands By Day And Night, which is based in Moab. They'll give you a stunning tour, and feed you dinner, too!

4. Speed down the mountain on Park City's Alpine Coaster.
Whether you choose this adventure in summer or winter months, a ride on the Alpine Coaster will definitely be exciting. You control the speed of your car, but you can get going up to 30 mph on this one-mile coaster.
5. Take our Mirror Lake Scenic Byway Roadtrip.
Utah's alpine mountains are so beautiful, and this byway helps you explore some of the prettiest scenery in the Beehive State. Start at Kamas and work your way up past alpine meadows, lakes full of trout and hiking trails until you get to the crown jewel - Mirror Lake.

6. Hike to the Wind Cave in Logan Canyon.
Spend a couple hours hiking up to the wind cave in Logan Canyon. The views along the way are amazing, and the cave (which is really a triple arch) is a great spot for a picnic or a few moments of relaxation.

7. Spend the day playing at Lagoon Amusement Park.
Pack a lunch and your swimsuit and head to Farmington where you'll find Utah's amusement park - Lagoon. It's over 130 years old, and it has plenty to offer every member in the family. Ride the coasters, check out Pioneer Village and cool off at Lagoon-A-Beach.

8. Soar like an eagle over the slickrock.
Biking Moab's slickrock is amazing, but you'll get a totally different perspective and a killer view when you soar over it on a zipline. Check out Raven's Rim Zip Line Adventure.

9. Hike Little Wild Horse Canyon
While many of Utah's slot canyons require technical skills like rappelling, Little Wild Horse Canyon is easy enough for even kids to tackle. Make sure to check the forecast to avoid flash floods, and bring your camera - this slot canyon is fantastic.

10. Take a ride on the Heber Valley Railroad
If you've been in Utah for awhile, you remember this train as "The Heber Creeper." The train takes you through the Heber Valley and past Deer Creek Reservoir, and you're gonna love the scenery.

11. Dare to cross Hell's Backbone Bridge
For a lovely scenic drive, with a few white-knuckle spots, take the 38-mile-long Hell's Backbone Road from Escalante to Boulder. Along the way, you'll cross Hell's Backbone Bridge - a gorgeous but narrow bridge with thousand-foot drops on either side.

12. Hike to Timpanogos Cave.
Most Utah schoolchildren end up on at least one field trip to this magnificent cave, but if you've never visited, you have to go. First, you'll hike up the steep mountainside, then you'll tour the incredible cave, with its stalactites and stalagmites.

13. Waterski on Jordanelle Reservoir.
There's nothing like a weekend of waterskiing to cool you down during Utah's hottest months. Head to Jordanelle State Park, where you waterski, swim, fish and camp overnight.

14. Take a two-day backpacking trip on the White Pine Lake Trail.
The White Pine Lake Trail in Little Cottonwood canyon is nearly 10 miles long, and much of it is strenuous, but the effort is so worth it! Backpack in and camp along the way for the best two-day trip ever.

15. Stay overnight in a yurt and explore Dead Horse State Park.
The overlook at Dead Horse State Park is just stunning, and the park itself has several hiking trails to explore. You'll want to reserve one of the park's three yurts so you can sleep overnight and see the incredible night sky.

16. Tackle Angel's Landing at Zion National Park.
Angel's Landing is one of those epic hikes that many people only do once, but it's well worth it. However, it's not for everyone.
