Few people know, for example, that the geographical midpoint of the Mother Road is right here in the Lone Star State. The tiny town of Adrian is little more than a blip on the map, but it embodies the essence of Americana in a way that will make you never want to leave. Easily one of the most charming Route 66 towns in Texas, Adrian is so worth the trip.
Constructed in 1926, the original Route 66 spanned exactly 2,448 miles. It stretched all the way from Los Angeles to Chicago.
Smack dab in the middle is the teeny tiny town of Adrian, Texas. A blip on the map, Adrian has a population that barely exceeds 100.
If you weren't specifically looking for Adrian, you'd almost certainly drive right through it. After all, the town is hardly more than a few buildings along one of the loneliest roads in the nation.

The menu is overflowing with classic diner fare, from silver dollar pancakes to juicy burgers with all the fixings.
You absolutely can't leave without sampling the pie. A laundry list of flavors is baked fresh every morning, and you definitely won't regret tucking into a big slice.
