This gorgeous drive through the Austin area is simply stunning. Pack a picnic and clear your schedule, because you'll want to take this road trip as soon as the Autumn beauty sinks in.

1. Austin Nature and Science Center
You'll begin your adventure at the Austin Nature and Science Center. Full of fascinating displays and friendly wildlife, this destination is perfect for the whole family. Take a hike through the preserve and absorb the changing leaves and crisp temperatures. You can even dip your feet into the creek and let the refreshing water ripple over you.
2. Zilker Park
Since you're so close, swing by Zilker Park and take pictures of the colorful leaves on the trees. You're sure to see hundreds of people enjoying the autumn weather and playing frisbee on the open grass.
3. Lady Bird Lake
A quick drive across the street will take you to Lady Bird Lake. If you're feeling adventurous, embark on the hike and bike trail. When the dying leaves fall into the crystal-clear water, the stunning reflection will take your breath away. This is the perfect place to recharge with a picnic or light snack. Venture towards Bee Caves and take a peek inside The Natural Gardener. Autumn isn't only about piles of leaves. Golden mums and richly colored perennials cover the grounds at this gardening store. There's no better way to liven up your living space than with a few fresh Fall flowers.
6. Hamilton Pool
Southwest of the Natural Gardener sits Hamilton Pool. This jaw-dropping scene is so popular, spaces can fill up quickly. To ensure your spot at this Autumn oasis, begin your adventure early and get to Hamilton Pool before mid afternoon.
7. Sweet Berry Farm
Wrap up your Fall foliage sightseeing tour at Sweet Berry Farm. This fragrant farm in Marble Falls isn't just for Springtime fun. In the fall, pumpkins and Autumn plants take over the grounds. Your inner child will run free amongst the magical pumpkin patch.
