Graceland
We're gonna start out here in Memphis, to give West Tennessee a bit of love. This iconic mansion is home to one of the most famous ghosts in Tennessee. Graceland is said to be haunted by Elvis, forever walking about the house that he simply can't bear to leave. He loves it in death as much as he did in life, we guess. Address: Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, TN, 38116.
Hurricane Mills
Loretta Lynn made the area famous with her love of the supernatural. The neat plantation house has seen many Civil War soldiers walking the property, and has even been featured on the Travel Channel for its supernatural activity. It's one of the most haunted places in Tennessee. Address: 44 Hurricane Mills Road, Hurricane Mills, TN, 37078.
Carnton Plantation
Of all the Tennessee ghost stories, Carnton Plantation has got to have the creepiest tales. The largest Confederate graveyard in the south is located on the property, and folks say that they see soldiers walking the fields. There's said to be a young servant who still sweeps the kitchen, and the stately ghost of one of the four generals that lost their liives on the property. Address: 1345 Eastern Flank Circle, Franklin, TN, 37064.
Stones River Battlefield
There's a section of the battlefield that is known as "The Bloody Pen," a place where a stand was solidly taken and many lives were tragically lost. The soldiers are said to wander the battlefield, forgetting that their lives ended so many lifetimes ago. Address: 3501 Old Nashville Highway, Murfreesboro, TN, 37129.
Bell Witch Cave
This was the site of one of the most horrific hauntings in history. Even Andrew Jackson was said to swear off the place, where John Bell was said to be murdered by a poltergeist and the family suffered at the hands of the supernatural for years. You can tour the cave even now, although it's one of the creepiest places in Tennessee. Address: 430 Keysburg Road, Adams, TN, 37010.
We're extremely creeped out..and you're sure to be too. Have you seen any ghosts in Tennessee? Which of the most haunted places in Tennessee would you add to the list?
