Tennessee is the greatest state in the country, in our opinion, so we're constantly trying to get those family members living in the furthest reaches of nowhere land to jump ship and move south. Yep, it's true! Come to Tennessee for consistent work and an expanding economy. It's pretty amazing.
7. And our real estate is pretty dang affordable, too.
Buying and house with a well-paying (available) job makes living the American dream an actual reality in Tennessee.
6. We have the neatest capital city in the nation.
Music City brings stars from all over the country to sing on its stages, and you may just bump into Taylor Swift at the local Whole Foods. Just sayin'.
5. And some of the most varied and beautiful cities in the south.
It doesn't get better than the beauty and culture of Memphis, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. We love our small towns but we also have a soft spot for our cities.
4. We are REALLY good at the food thing.
Try out Dandgure's or Monell's or The Loveless Cafe while you're down here - or ask a local and have them invite you to Sunday dinner. Every meal is a dream when it's made by a native Tennessean.
3. Especially fried chicken. We kill fried chicken.
And hot chicken. Yep, we started that national craze.
2. Tennessee is filled to the brim with rolling hills and beautiful rivers.
And farmland and state parks and lakes and creeks and...
1. Which means you'll never get enough of the Great Smoky Mountains.
It's the most visited national park in the US for a reason - and you can live right in its backyard.
