Frazier grew up in the community of Laurel Bay, where his family worked as sharecroppers. He was one of twelve children to Dolly Alston-Frazier and Rubin Frazier.
Frazier was a professional boxer back in the 60s and 70s, who was known for being the very first boxer to defeat Muhammad Ali.
Frazier even reigned as the undisputed heavyweight champion from 1970 to 1973 and earned a gold medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics at an amateur level.
