Brookgreen Gardens - Murrells Inlet

Botany Bay Road - Edisto

This little-known garden is open to the public and filled with several garden "rooms" that are positively delightful. You won't regret seeking it out. Congaree National Park - Hopkins
Visit one of the largest old-growth bottomland hardwood forests in the country right here in South Carolina. The park is not only open 24 hours a day, but it is also free. The most magical time to visit? During the height of firefly mating season, which occurs each year usually during the last two weeks of May.
