A simply charming town all year round, Bellefonte transforms into a winter wonderland every holiday season as it hosts the annual Bellefonte Victorian Christmas.
This year's celebration is set for Friday, December 8 thru Sunday, December 10, 2023, with a full menu of activities planned for each day.
The weekend officially kicks off with Opening Ceremonies at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Historical Museum. There, get in the holiday spirit as you listen to holiday music by Victorian Brass as well as other holiday performances.
The first day also features horse-drawn carriage rides and the Festival of Trees. The Bellefonte Community Choir Concert then performs at 7:30 p.m., with Nittany Valley Symphony Encore Ensemble following at 8:30 p.m. Both performances are at the Bellefonte Presbyterian Church.
Bring the kids to meet Santa and dine on a delicious breakfast on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church. Other kids' activities include...
Storytime at the Centre County Library, Children's Tea at the Little House, and plenty of opportunities to keep hands busy with crafts.
Embrace the holiday spirit as you encounter Dickens characters, as they meander around town singing Christmas carols and greeting townspeople.
First time visiting Bellefonte or just want to admire the quaint town? You'll want to stroll through town all weekend, whether to shop at a craft show, catch a holiday performance, or partake in a cookie crawl.
Journey back in time on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Fezziwig's Holiday Party. The party features costumed Dickens' characters, Christmas carols, parlor games, and a traditional Christmas meal.
Guests must reserve a space and pre-pay for their admission to the party.
