Rock Cafe opened in 1936 and has been an iconic Route 66 stop for over 80 years. You'll find them in the town of Stroud between Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

Since 1993, Dawn Welch has owned the restaurant and was the inspiration for Sally Carrera - a character in the 2006 animated Pixar film Cars.
In case you need a little refresher, Sally is Radiator Springs' town attorney and the love interest of protagonist Lightning McQueen.
The cafe features items left by the crew and gifts received from working with Pixar and Disney. The great food, fun atmosphere, and history of the cafe make this a must-visit restaurant.
But that's not all this place has going for it. The menu is famous for many unique items including an alligator burger.
You can stop in seven days a week and enjoy their tasty burgers and desserts. The home cooking will remind you of your grandmother's food and it's heavenly.
