Guthrie's Territorial Christmas Celebration has been entertaining families since 1995 and it only gets better every year.
The town is already decorated for Christmas, so you can visit anytime and enjoy the cozy town. But we recommend you visit on December 8 or 15, 2018 and take part in the Victorian Christmas Walks.
The walks take place from 5-9 p.m. and visitors can walk the streets and enjoy live carolers dressed in early-1900s costumes.
The town will also have decorated store windows with live actors and you'll see Santa and Mrs. Clause greeting the crowds.
Speaking of crowds, The Victorian Walks are highly attended events, so get there early.
The town is transformed into a magical place filled with holiday decor and mesmerizing lights. You'll feel like you stepped back in time where life was a bit simpler.
The Dominion House is a historical building in town that is now an event center and hotel. During the holiday season, it's beautifully decorated, so put it on your list of places to visit in town.
If you're lucky enough to visit Guthrie when it's snowing, it's completely magical. It feels like a little town out of a Hallmark movie.
