Grindstone Stables is a horseback riding company in Ruidoso, but every year these majestic horses help us get into the Christmas spirit with magical horse drawn sleigh rides.
From Thanksgiving to January 5th, Grindstone Stables is offering these enchanting sleigh rides through the historic Upper Canyon in Ruidoso.
Although we hope there's a snowy backdrop, the small resort town of Ruidoso doesn't always get snow. No worries, though, these sleigh rides will happen no matter the weather. Be sure to bundle up as there might be cold temperatures, but blankets are offered as well.
You're welcome to bring a warm drink with a lid as these beautiful draft horses equipped with jingle bells trot along for an enchanting ride. Each ride is 30 minutes long.
Sleigh rides take off at from Martha's Fabrics' parking lot at 5:30p.m., and then depart every 15 minutes after. Sleigh ride nights in Ruidoso are truly a magical experience.

Grindstone Stables offers sleigh rides on various nights between Thanksgiving and January 5th, 2018. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for those 12 and under. The sleigh rides depart from Martha's Fabrics' parking lot at 101 Vision Dr., Ruidoso, NM.
