In all honesty, this article could be about almost any small town in New Jersey. Cape May, Lambertville, Haddonfield, Clinton...my heart belongs to each. Luckily, I'm allowed to love more than one place. I've written about each of the aforementioned towns in detail though, and I'd like to cover someplace new...Somerville.

More into nightlife and the bar scene? Check out the 1933 Room (a speakeasy) or McCormick's Pub (with billiards and bar games).
Not a foodie? No worries! You'll fall in love with the fantastic variety of shops. Gallery on Main has got antiques...
And then you've got Comic Fortress, The Big Little Railroad Shop, Retro Classics, The Hungry Hound (baked goods for pups!), and Incogneeto, among others.
Looking for fun? Look no further than YESTERcades, a retro arcade with over 60 classic arcade games, 12 pinball machines, a pool table, and classic and modern gaming consoles.

Best of all, the community comes together for frequent events including cruise nights, concerts and cookie exchanges. Check out Detox & Retox Yoga & Beer Social on December 9th!
