What's sweeter than spending time in New Hampshire? Easy! Enjoying some of the best desserts you can find anywhere in New England. We know that pie isn't necessarily something only we can lay claim to, but we believe wholeheartedly that some of the best is right here! Check out our favorites by taking this fun road trip.
1. Crosby Bakery, Nashuab
crosby
The first stop on our list is one of the best spots in the state. Head to Nashua to check it out and make sure you come hungry. They have plenty of other delicious treats, both sweet and savory. This is a great way to get you ready for what's to come!
2. The Sweet Spot Bakery & Café, Weare
sweet spot
Next it's on to The Sweet Spot where you'll find so much more than just pies. Previously known as "Just Like Mom's Pastries," this spot has become known as one of the sweetest spots in the state. And, everything is made with love.
3. Bearded Baking Co., Manchester
bear
We came across this sweet spot after it changed from Michelle’s Gourmet Pastries and Deli. Still just as sweet with an emphasis on custom-made goods, this is the perfect spot to find exactly what your sweet tooth is craving.
4. Red Arrow Diner, Manchester
red
A New Hampshire classic, you can't make a visit to the state without stopping here. And that goes for political candidates during every election, too. Whoever you are, stop in here for some of the best pie in the state!
5. Harvey's Bakery & Coffee Shop, Dover
Your next stop is located right in downtown Dover, perfect for those already in town or just passing through. The shop has been around for nearly 90 years and it has remained family-owned and operated for all those years. That's probably why they've found the perfect recipes for all things sweet, especially pies.
6. Ira Miller’s General Store, Milton Mills
Ira Miller's General Store is a great spot to visit no matter what you're looking for, but as the place to find "Peonies and Pastries" pies it's even more compelling to visit. With an assortment of options, take something to go and surprise someone when you've returned from your road trip.
7. Picnic Rock Farms, Meredith
Last on your journey through the state in search of the best pies is this farm. Formerly known as Longridge Farm, there's plenty to leave with here so plan on saving room in the car. You'll definitely want to take home at least one pie to cap of one of the most delicious road trips in the state.
