1. Echo Lake State Park, Conway
We'll start our hidden beaches in New Hampshire trip at Echo Lake Beach which has some of the most amazing views you could possibly imagine enjoying while you swim. Make sure to take a hike around the lake, too, for the gorgeous scenery!
2. Forest Lake State Park, Dalton
This 397-acre park contains a small but gorgeous sandy beach in Dalton located on the shore of Forest Lake. There are picnic tables and restrooms available in season as well. It's one of the loveliest secret beaches in New Hampshire.
3. Wadleigh State Park, Sutton
Our next stop takes us to a lovely sandy beach in North Sutton located on the shore of Kezar Lake. The mountain views and quiet water are incredibly relaxing. Wadleigh State Park is a special kind of gorgeous.
4. Clough State Park, Weare
This lovely park is located on the shore of 150-acre Everett Lake and has a large beach, playing fields, and a picnic area. It's one of the best New Hampshire beaches to visit.
5. Great Island Common, New Castle
Okay, so this isn't exactly a "hidden" beach in New Castle, but it just seemed right to end this trip at the ocean! Compared to the big beaches in Hampton and Rye, you'll find this one to be a positive oasis. There is a small sandy area for swimming in addition to a longer rocky shoreline.
