9. Bowers Mansion Regional Park, Washoe Valley

Located between Reno and Carson City on Old Highway 395, this park has expansive lawns and huge shade trees that are stunning in the autumn and a picture perfect place for an autumn picnic. You can finish out your fun day trip with a tour of the historic Bowers Mansion.

10. Floyd Lamb City Park, Las Vegas
