The elves gather on the first Saturday to begin decking the halls (and storefronts) of the entire downtown area with over 10,000 feet of lights and garland.

Then, the Holiday Art Walk begins at 4:00 p.m. and leads visitors through the freshly decorated town to admire all the lights and garland, sample wines and treats, and take advantage of sales offered by the galleries and shops.

Shop local and support Montana businesses! December is the perfect time to meet local business owners and buy some unique local treasures while bedazzling the city with Christmas lights.

The grand finale of the evening is the Parade of Lights (and Santa's arrival) which begins at 6:00 p.m. Then, head to Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts for a chance to meet Santa and enjoy a holiday performance.

Be sure not to miss out on one of this event's highlights: the tree lighting ceremony, which typically begins at 7:00 p.m.
