1. Natchez

3. Ocean Springs

As one of the "coolest small towns in America," there’s a lot to love about Ocean Springs. Much like nearby Bay St. Louis, Ocean Springs boasts a vibrant art and music scene. Its perks don’t end there, though. Downtown Ocean Springs is brimming with funky boutiques, quaint shops, and top-notch dining. 5. Holly Springs

Holly Springs is known as a town with "all kinds of character," and it truly is! The small town is brimming with southern hospitality, a rich history, and a whole lot of southern charm. There’s also plenty to see and do. Outdoor enthusiasts will want to check out the Strawberry Plains Audubon Center, while history buffs are sure to love the town’s many museums. 6. New Albany

New Albany is most known as the birthplace of William Faulkner, but that not it’s only claim to fame. It’s also home to the nationally-famous Sugaree’s Bakery as well as the gateway to the Tanglefoot Trail, an award-winning rail trail that’s perfect for everything from a scenic bike ride to a serene stroll. 7. Iuka

Practically overflowing with natural beauty, Iuka is a great escape and must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts. The tiny town is home to J.P. Coleman State Park as well as Mineral Springs Park, which boasts several springs and one of the few covered bridges in Mississippi.
