Located on the Mississippi River as well as being home to the Natchez Trace Parkway, this town is no stranger to beautiful scenery.
2. Gulfport
This coastal town provides for a gorgeous landscape and, apparently, an up close and personal view of wildlife.
3. Vicksburg
The popular tourist destination, the Vicksburg National Military Park, affords visitors beautiful views along with a glimpse at the nation’s history.
4. Holly Springs
A city rich in history, Holly Springs is filled with beautiful homes from the past, which only further add to the beautiful scenery provided by Wall Doxey State Park and Holly Springs National Forest.
5. Port Gibson
This town’s beauty didn’t get lost on General Grant as he claimed the town was "too beautiful to burn" during the Civil War. Pictured here, the Windsor Ruins are a reminder of what once was.
6. Snow Lake Shores
This small town’s population nearly triples during the summer months, and with a view like this it’s easy to see why.
7. Oxford
The town known for being home to the Rebels and William Faulkner is also one of the most beautiful in the state.
8. Tupelo
Being located along the Natchez Trace Parkway, beautiful views should be associated with Tupelo just as much as the fact that it’s the birthplace of Elvis Presley.
9. Ocean Springs
After seeing this picture, it’s easy to see why Ocean Springs is referred to as the "gem of the Gulf Coast."
10. Enterprise
Home to the tallest waterfall in the state, Enterprise offers views like no other.

Thanks to the Clark Creek Nature Area and its numerous waterfalls, this is one of the Magnolia State’s most scenic cities.

13. Biloxi

14. Tishomingo
In addition to being home to a state park, this town’s beauty can definitely be attributed to the surrounding landscape. Not only is Tishomingo located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains but it is surrounded by the Natchez Trace Parkway, Bay Springs Lake, and Pickwick Lake – all of which make for great scenery.
15. Flora
36 million years in the making, Flora’s Petrified Forest is not only fascinating but it provides some amazing scenery.
