Heritage Museum and Gardens is open seasonally from late-April through mid-October. Set on 100 acres, visitors can stroll the grounds and marvel at more than 1,000 species of trees and flowers, including rhododendrons and giant hydrangeas the Cape is known for.

6. Bash Bish Falls, Mt. Washington
There are no other falls quite as lovely as Bash Bish Falls. Through a series of cascades, this waterfall measures at around 200 feet in total, making it the tallest waterfall in the state. A quick hike will get you there to see it in all its glory.
