1. Bound Brook Island Beach, Wellfleet

A 25-minute walk down Bound Brook Island Road will lead you to this beautiful hidden shore that is free from tourists and full of natural beauty. If you don't mind the lovely stroll through the woods, this enchanting Massachusetts beach will reward you with sparkling vistas and powdery sand.
2. Marconi Beach, Wellfleet
Marconi Beach in Wellfleet isn't exactly a secret, but it is tucked away in a beautiful swathe of nature. Located in the Cape Cod National Seashore, Marconi Beach features soft white sand, gorgeous waters, and plenty of room to spread out. It's one of the best Massachusetts beaches to visit.

5. Rexhame Beach, Marshfield
When it comes to Marshfield MA beaches, Rexhame Beach is one of the best. Rexhame Beach in Marshfield doesn't get nearly enough good press. This South Shore spot is dog-friendly, meaning you can bring your pooch along for a day of sunshine and splashing. You'll mainly find locals on this strip of shoreline, along with the occasional bunch of visitors, so there's a good chance of having a decent amount of beach to yourself. 6. Humarock Beach, Humarock (Scituate)
Humarock Beach in Humarock may be the best sandy beach in Massachusetts. It offers clean sand (though it is a bit pebbly) and plenty of room to stretch out. Parking can be troublesome, so leaving your car a few streets down and biking here is probably your best bet. However, the lack of huge lots means that the undeterred visitors get lots of privacy and space to themselves. Pack a picnic and enjoy the waves rolling in.
7. Half Moon Beach, Gloucester
Half Moon Beach in Gloucester, a tiny beach, is perfect for getting away from it all and enjoying a serene moment in nature. Named for its unique half-moon shape, the beach offers warm waters, public bathrooms, and areas where you can grill or set up a picnic. Don't forget to scramble up the large rocks along the shoreline for a gorgeous view of the water. It's one of the prettiest hidden beaches in Massachusetts.
8. Good Harbor Beach, Gloucester
Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester is another one of those beaches that isn't unknown, but it is tucked away just far enough out of reach that many people don't take the time to discover just how beautiful it is. Good Harbor Beach is unique for its unusual layout; there's a large tidal pool near the rear of the beach and a long sandbar extending out into the water. When the tide is low enough, you can even stroll right across the sea to Salt Island. Just be prepared that there is a charge for parking per vehicle.
