Marylanders are quite diverse depending on background and on what part of the state they grew up in. They also share similarities, especially when it comes to the experiences of living in the Old Line State. This just for fun list shows the rites of passage most Marylanders go through. And if you're new to the state, these are things you 'must do' before becoming an official Marylander.
1. Eat ridiculously messy and delicious steamed crabs.
2. Take a dip in the Chesapeake Bay.
3. And in the Atlantic Ocean.
4. Drive across the Bay Bridge. It's basically a rite of passage.
5. Attend a pro sporting event.
6. Experience unpredictable Maryland weather. One day it's 70 degrees, and then the following day 40 degrees.
7. Awake to find your neighborhood looking like this.
8. Spend a day exploring at a Maryland State Park.
9. Sprinkle this on EVERYTHING IN SIGHT.
10. Get your Maryland driver's license. Here's hoping the line is short.
Have you done all of the above and what would you add to this just for fun list?
