There's nothing better than scoring a deal! Whether it's using a great coupon or showing up for an unexpected sale at the mall, finding a special discount can make you feel like a super hero! If unearthing deals is as exciting to you as it is to us, you're going to love this road trip. Hitting some of the best thrift stores in Maine, this route will lead you to vintage finds, antique goods and lots and lots of hilarious things you'll want to see but have no reason to buy. Hop in the car, but make sure to leave some room. There's a good chance you're going to come home with some stuff you didn't plan for! The trip is about 80 miles and will take approximately two hours in drive time. So, plan on a full day!

1. Antiques USA, Arundel
Let's start big! Your first stop is one of the largest antique shops in Maine! Because the inventory here is so varied, many people who live locally tend to check in just about every day to ensure they don't miss anything. Since the store is part of a larger drive for you, you'll want to comb through everything. Who knows when you'll be back?!

2. Southern Maine Indoor Flea Market, Scarborough
If you didn't know you need it, it's probably waiting for you just inside this shop. It's the largest antique and thrift store in southern Maine, which means you might end up spending updwards of an hour here. Plan accordingly by grabbing a snack before you walk in. You'll need sustenance to carry you through. You'l find things like coffee mugs, snow globes and antique beer steins here.

3. Find, Portland
If you don't feel comfortable in thrift stores that carry vintage things with a huge price tag, you'll be right at home here at Find. We love that they carry regular items for regular people, including things from Gap, J.Crew, and Forever 21. They also have their fair share of real vintage finds from L.L. Bean and even old concert t-shirts.

4. Little Ghost, Portland
If you love the days of disco and mod clothes, Little Ghost will be a dream. It's full of brightly colored dresses, scarves and lots of shoes.

5. Local Sprouts Co-Op, Portland
You're probably going to want to fuel up at this point. We love Local Sprouts for its commitment to Portland's diverse community and for it's incredible food!

6. Portland Flea-For-All, Portland
On a Sunday, it's fun to get brunch in Portland and just walk around this eye-popping store. It's a lot larger than it looks from the outside and as you find yourself walking through room after room, you'll understand why we're telling you to plan for at least an hour here. From vintage furniture that's been upcycled to clothing, records, and custom jewelery, this place is far more than a thrift store. Many of the sections here are managed by individual shop keepers, which means everything is uniquely special.

7. Cabot Mill Antiques, Brunswick
Cabot Mill Antiques is located inside the restored Fort Andross on the Androscoggin River. It's been offering vintage finds and antiques treasures to visitors since 2010 so you can trust that they know what they're doing. They're known to bargain, so maybe you can even get yourself a 10% discount!

8. Raggamuffins, Gardiner
In operation for nearly 20 years, this thrift store actually looks more like a boutique. It's highly curated so you can be sure that anything you find is of high quality.
