If you live here, you’ll constantly be given invitations to eat delicious foods…so you better have something you can offer too!
6. A Taste for Spicy
Watch out! If you aren’t used to it, that Cajun spice can surprise you.
7. A Sense of Humor
While living in Louisiana, life is always throwing you curve balls. So you’ve gotta learn to keep a smile on your face.
8. Air Conditioning---or at least a VERY powerful fan
If you don’t have it in the summer, it can get really rough.
9. A Stocked Pantry & Plenty of Flashlights
Being prepared for storms is essential.
10. Bug Spray
Another essential item to survive a Louisiana summer.
11. A love of porch sitting
If you’re in a rush, you might just want to move. Sometimes it’s best to just take a sit on the porch.
12. Anti-frizz hair products
Your hair will get frizzy crazy fast!
13. Every Now and Then, A Drink
Don’t over do it now---but sometimes it’s the only thing that can turn around a crazy Louisiana day.
