Who wouldn't want to spend the day sampling wines and walking through a beautiful vineyard? Well, you're in luck because you can do just that right here in Louisiana! There's a lovely little winery over in West Monroe that you should check out.
Landry Vineyards was established in 1999.
Jeff and Libby Landry along with their four sons planted their first grape vines along two acres in
Folsom, where the winery was originally located.
After hurricane Katrina, they moved the vineyards to West Monroe.
The new site included 20 acres and a beautiful wine tasting room.
You can visit the winery Monday through Saturday and taste their delicious wines.
The tours will take you all around, showing you everything from the crush pad to the bottling facility.
There’s also a wagon ride tour that’ll take you through the vineyards.
They also have outdoor concerts with live music.
Bring your lawn chairs and a blanket and listen to local musicians while you enjoy a glass of wine and beautiful scenery.
Landry Vineyards is a family run business that works hard to produce quality wines that pair well with Louisiana’s Cajun/Creole culture.
So make a day of it and drop by for a visit.
Landry Vineyards is located at 5699 New Natchitoches Road West Monroe, LA 71292.
